Dr Gerard Connors is an Interventional Cardiologist and Vascular Physician.
He completed two sub-specialty fellowships in the United States, which were Interventional Vascular Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, and Interventional Cardiology at Stoney Brook University, New York.
Prior to this, he graduated from the University of Queensland (with Honors) and completed specialist training in Cardiology, at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
His specialist interests include coronary artery disease, vascular medicine, venous thromboembolism, peripheral artery disease and hypertension. He performs coronary intervention, peripheral and renal artery intervention and renal denervation for treatment of refractory hypertension.
He provides consulting and interventional services at Greenslopes Private Hospital, is a Visiting Medical Officer (MO) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
