Rebecca Wyten is a highly talented Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who has trained extensively both in Victoria and NSW. Following completion of her plastic surgical training, she undertook a Fellowship in France working with world leaders in cranio-facial surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, breast reconstruction surgery and aesthetic surgery. She is especially interested in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery for women.
In addition to her private practice at Avenue Plastic Surgery, Ms Wyten also contributes to the public health system where she is in involved in the teaching of current plastic surgery trainees and is a mentor to many female doctors striving towards a surgical career.
Ms Wyten is a dedicated surgeon and has undertaken many humanitarian trips overseas over the last 10 years. She has recently returned from Nepal where she practiced burn surgery through the organisation Open Heart International. Ms Wyten has also contributed to Interplast performing cleft lip and palate surgery.
