Bronwyn Rees (Clinical Psychologist)

Bronwyn graduated from the University of Queensland after completing specialist training in Clinical Psychology. She has 20 years experience in working with children, adolescents and their families as well as with children, adolescents, and adults living with chronic and/or complex medical conditions. Bronwyn has worked in a range of settings in both the pubic and private sectors including Child and Youth Mental Health, the Queensland Diabetes Centre at the Mater Hospital, the Mater Children's Hospital and in private practice.

Bronwyn has extensive experience in the treatment of children and adolescents experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, adjustment to life changes, mood, trauma, behavioural problems, eating disorders, and adjusting to and living with chronic and/or complex medical conditions. Bronwyn utilises evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), behavioural family therapy (BFT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and Family Based Treatment for Anorexia Nervosa (FBT). She is also trained in providing individual and group Triple P.

Bronwyn is a board approved supervisor and has provided supervision to a range of supervisees including honours and postgraduate psychology students, clinical registrars, and peers. Her supervisees have worked in the public and private sectors in city, regional, rural, and remote settings. Bronwyn is available to provide supervision either face-to-face, over the phone or via Skype.
