Chelsey Sidaway hails from the beautiful island of Barbados, where she was born and raised. She graduated in 2014 from The University of the West Indies, Mona campus, in physiotherapy. Her clinical experience spans across public hospitals and private healthcare facilities, offering her in-depth exposure to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. This diverse training has helped shape her holistic and patient-centred approach to rehabilitation.

Her early career saw her thrive in private practice settings, quickly earning the trust of clients and colleagues alike. Chelsey went on to run her own successful clinic for six years, building a loyal clientele through her focus on delivering personalised care and achieving meaningful results.

In 2023, Chelsey made the move to the UK to broaden her professional experience. While based in Lincoln, she designed and implemented fall prevention programmes for older adults and became a respected educator, teaching acupuncture and dry-needling techniques to other healthcare professionals across the country.

Chelsey became part of the Sydney Physio Clinic CBD team in January 2025, starting working at our Randwick location weeks later. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise, particularly in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Her special interests include myofascial release, Mulligan’s techniques, exercise rehabilitation, shockwave therapy, acupuncture, dry-needling, and treating sports-related injuries. Her caring nature and evidence-based approach make her a favourite among patients.
