Dr Arthur Kaffes is a visiting specialist Gastroenterologist at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney Australia.
Dr Kaffes trained in endoscopy in both leading local and international endoscopy centres with world renowned endoscopists. Since returning to Australia he has pioneered several new endoscopic procedures and new endoscopic technology.
Dr Kaffes is known internationally for his research in many areas of therapeutic endoscopy and is often invited to present and demonstrate new endoscopic techniques at national and international meetings. Since 1999 he has focused his clinical research on endoscopy and how it can benefit the patient.
To date, he has published over 17 clinical papers and presented over 40 abstracts at national and international meetings. He is a reviewer for many leading international gastrointestinal and endoscopic journals.
