Desiree completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 1978.
Desiree has been a senior paediatric physiotherapist in private and hospital environments in both Australia and New Zealand for 35 years. She also currently works in a Brisbane Hospital as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist. Desiree completed two post graduate certificates in Ayres Sensory Integration and Proprioceptive brushing techniques, and has presented at several conferences both internationally and nationally. Desiree is also currently undertaking research looking at movement patterns in irritable children as a result of GORD.
Desiree is passionate about ensuring a high quality service to her patients that meet both the needs and goals of each child and their family.
