Dr Drew Cronin is a Queensland trained and fully certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS).
Dr Cronin is the Gold Coast’s first locally trained Specialist Plastic Surgeon. He was the inaugural President of the Griffith University Medical Society, and underwent residency at the Gold Coast Hospital before being accepted to the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training program in Queensland. Upon completion of his training, Dr Cronin has returned home to the Gold Coast to be Director of The Coastal Clinic, where he provides a broad range of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical services.
Dr Cronin has particular experience and expertise in:
- Cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, including breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, implant removal, and reconstruction of cancer related or congenital breast deformities.
- Body contouring procedures such as abdominoplasty, body lift, thigh and arm reduction, liposuction and fat grafting.
- Facial aesthetic surgery, such as facelift/necklift, and upper and lower blepharoplasty, and
- Reconstructive surgeries such as skin cancer removal and treatment, breast reconstruction surgery post breast cancer, head and neck surgery and trauma.
