Dr Elizabeth (Tibby) Mackinnon studied medicine at Flinders University of South Australia and over the past 25 years has enjoyed working in both urban and rural settings in Australia, Western Samoa and Papua New Guinea. She has a Diploma of Obstetrics, a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and is a fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
She enjoys the family-based aspect of general practice as well as its diversity of medical challenges. Tibby now offers Mirena IUD insertion and removal services to Sunshine Coast women.
