Dr Emilie Larkin graduated from the University of NSW with a Bachelor of Science (Medicine), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2005. Her intern and resident years were based at Royal North Shore and Hornsby Hospitals where she particularly enjoyed emergency, general medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology, psychiatry and paediatrics. She began her specialist general practice training in Parkes, Central West NSW where aside from visiting ‘the Dish’, she gained excellent experience as both a community GP and a visiting medical officer at the district hospital. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010. Emilie loves the variety of general practice and the opportunity to provide comprehensive health care to all ages, especially children. She is dedicated to addressing all aspects of health, including mental health, travel medicine and preventative care for the whole family. Emilie is accredited to provide GP shared pregnancy care and to insert the contraceptive implant. She is committed to ongoing education, completing a Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine in 2013.
