A Medical and Veterinary graduate of the University of Queensland, Ethan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He completed additional s100 training in HIV medicine and works at Gladstone Road Medical Centre, a high case load HIV practice Ethan also spent a year as a Palliative Medicine trainee at the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane during his GP registrar advanced training skills year and continues to provide palliative care in the community.

Ethan is an Academic Title Holder (Senior Lecturer) at the General Practice Clinical Unit, the Faculty of Medicine, University of Queensland, and has a strong interest in conducting research within HIV and Sexual Health Medicine and has published in the area. He is also a facilitator in the ASHM s100 HIV prescribers’ course.

Since 2018, Ethan has been the Chair of the Brisbane Community HIV Prescribers (CHiPs) group. He is also the Secretary of the Sexual Health Society of Queensland.
