Gus regularly works with people experiencing difficulties in their day to day life including their home lives, relationships and at work.

His principal style of therapy is cognitive behavioural therapy due to its very strong scientific evidence base and demonstrated clinical effectiveness. Gus may employ other forms of psychological therapy where they are likely to be beneficial.
Cognitive behavioural therapy assists people to understand the relationships between their thought processes, emotions and behaviours. The client and therapist work together on developing a shared understanding of the relationships between problematic thought processes, behaviours and emotions and then employ effective strategies to create positive change.
