Dr Mahajan graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2014 with a Doctor of Medicine (MD), and previously completed her Bachelor of Medical Science at The University of Sydney. Nidhi worked as an intern at Box Hill Hospital, and as a resident medical officer at Westmead Hospital and Auburn Hospital where she gained extensive experience in emergency medicine, general surgery, general medicine, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology, and cardiology. Nidhi completed her general practice training in Sydney's western suburbs of Penrith, Blacktown and Norwest, and subsequently gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. Furthermore, Nidhi completed her Diploma of Child Health from The Sydney Children's Hospital Network and The University of Sydney in 2019.
