Specialising in the areas of incontinence, erectile dysfunction, prostate issues and pelvic cancer in male patients, Dr Philip Smith is dedicated to utilising the latest research and best practice treatment methods to ensure all of his patients achieve the best outcomes for their ongoing health and wellbeing. He achieves this by regularly attending both national and international conferences and workshops and has himself presented papers on ground-breaking urological practices.
This determination to deliver great outcomes for patients, instigated his motivation to establish a specialist urological practice in Cairns. Recognising that the region was drastically in need of such services, he partnered with Dr Garrath Evans and Dr Stefan Antoniou to establish a practice which is able to treat all urological conditions in both men and women. In addition, Dr Smith conducts robotic surgeries at Greenslopes Hospital each and every month. This practice enables him to provide the end-to-end patient care that was previously lacking in the region with patients having to travel continuously for urological appointments rather than just once for surgery.
