Dr Robert Lin grew up in Brisbane and attended Brisbane State High where he was a school prefect. He then obtained a Bachelor of Dental Science degree at the University of Queensland in 2009. After graduating, Robert spent some time working for Queensland Health in 2010 to further hone his skills in oral surgery and emergency dental treatment. Since then he has also worked in private practices in Townsville, Gold Coast and Brisbane before joining the team at Redland Bay Smiles in 2014. Robert likes to make appointments light hearted and comfortable for the patient. He takes pride in ensuring that his patients feel at ease and enjoys using his growing knowledge to answer any questions they may have. Robert has a holistic approach to dentistry which includes examining the patients’ airways and TMJ as he understands that being a dentist is more than just treating the teeth but the entire head and neck as well. Robert is focused on making his patients healthier because he suffers from health and dental issues which are directly related and can be diagnosed and treated successfully. Robert is constantly keeping up to date with current trends and technology by regularly attending conferences here in Australia and internationally. Robert is skilled in all areas of general dentistry but his passion is in orthodontics and creating beautiful faces not just straight teeth. Robert is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Prosthodontics Association and the International Association for Orthodontics. Outside of work Robert loves to exercise and enjoys watching sports. He also plays in a weekly basketball competition in Brisbane. Besides sports he also likes to travel and is quite a bit of a foodie.
