Dr Sepideh graduated with a degree in Medicine in 2004 and worked as a general practitioner in Iran for a few years. In 2011, she completed her masters in “Nanotechnology & Regenerative Medicine” from University College London. Afterwards, she relocated to Australia and began her general practice journey here. In 2017, she obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
While working in North Queensland, an area with one of the highest rates of overweight population in Australia, Dr Sepideh developed a strong passion for weight management. She recognized it as a chronic and complex medical condition that serves as a root cause for many other chronic illnesses. Driven by this passion, she actively pursued both Australian and internationally recognized specialized training in weight management and obesity medicine. Dr Sepideh is highly regarded as a weight management practitioner and collaborates closely with renowned Australian experts in the field.
