Functional Health is defined as the ability to perform one’s activities of daily living. The growing trend is that as a result of poor and sedentary lifestyle habits, we are no longer capable of performing our daily activities in a functional manner. Hence is why so many people suffer from pain, when doing everyday activities such as sitting at work, driving, bending over, walking and exercise.

Our team at Function Health and Performance believe that good movement and fitness are important measures of good health. Our team of tertiary educated health professionals are not only trained to relieve your pain, but to identify the cause of your pain. We use Functional Movement tests to help identify areas of weakness and imbalance, which then allows us to formulate the best plan of treatment and care to get you back to your best and functional form. As we have a diverse team of health professionals (Physiotherapist, Sports Chiropractors, Remedial Massage therapists, Exercise Physiologists) we can use a range of different modalities to ensure we can find the best solution to your problem.

North Sydney Sports and Chiropractic has been operating in the North Sydney area since 2008. It began as a Sports Chiropractic clinic that today has evolved into a multidisciplinary practice that offers Sports Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Remedial Massage, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Classes and Corporate Health and Wellness services.

In 2016, North Sydney Sports and Chiropractic re-branded as Functional Health and Performance.
