With over 20 years of clinical experience, Karen brings extensive knowledge and a compassionate approach to her work as a physiotherapist. She holds a Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Health Science, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy.

Karen has worked across both public and private healthcare settings, developing broad experience in pre and post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. She offers a wide range of physiotherapy services and takes a holistic, patient-centred approach, looking beyond symptoms to understand each person’s overall health, lifestyle, and goals. Karen is a strong advocate for empowering patients through education, movement, and long-term wellbeing strategies.

As a mother, Karen has a personal interest in women’s health and wellbeing. She understands the physical and emotional demands women may experience across different life stages, including pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and menopause. Her caring and respectful approach allows her to support women seeking help with pelvic health, core stability, and general musculoskeletal concerns.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Karen holds additional qualifications in clinical Pilates (Levels 1–3), acupuncture, orthopaedic manual therapy, and exercise science. She has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation and workplace injury prevention, and regularly undertakes further training to ensure her practice remains current and evidence-based.

Karen is multilingual and culturally aware, fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin, with an understanding of Japanese and Shanghainese, enabling her to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
