Renee is a Clinical Psychologist with interests in the areas of trauma and PTSD, acute stress, anxiety and depression, adolescent mental health, perinatal psychology, grief and loss, and substance use (including smoking cessation). Prior to working in Private Practice, Renee has worked in a variety of settings including academia (Institute of Psychiatry, London), Clinical (St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney; Alcohol and Drug Services) and Educational (Guilford Young College Adolescent Psychologist, Hobart).

Renee practices a range of evidence based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She holds a strong interest in linking research with practice. She has published 3 peer reviewed papers in the area of adolescent mental health. Renee is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and AHPRA, and holds memberships with the APS and APS Clinical College. She is a registered supervisor of early career psychologists. Renee works with older teens and adults (17 years +).
